About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team at Soho Square Solutions. As a key member of our Digital Delivery and Banking Services team, you will play a critical role in our major digital transformation project.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with various sectors of the Bank, leveraging your expertise in systems integration, Domain Driven Design (DDD) concepts, and cloud services to deliver large enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and design quality end-to-end technical solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, platforms, and tools for each project, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Apply DDD principles to solve complex problems and deliver composable architecture.
  • Develop and implement robust security measures to protect data, applications, and systems.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting and explaining technical solutions while leading and mentoring a team of developers.

Requirements
  • Completed Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and ten years of relevant experience or Master's degree in Information Technology and eight years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience as a solutions architect, focusing on large-scale, complex solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of software design and development using JEE, Spring Boot, Kafka technologies.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services such as EKS and Serverless, as well as structured and unstructured databases.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills.
  • Strong ability to synthesize, analyze, and popularize.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
  • AWS Solution Architect Associate or Professional certification is an asset.
Language

Fluency in English and French is required, as you will frequently communicate with suppliers or partners who speak a language other than French.
