About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Form Carpenter to join our team at Sibwest Inc. As a Form Carpenter, you will be responsible for creating and installing forms for concrete construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Build Forms: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and create accurate layouts in conformance to building codes.
  • Measure and Cut Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to ensure precise fit and finish.
  • Supervise and Train: Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers to ensure high-quality workmanship and efficient project completion.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company standards for quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
