As a key member of our kitchen leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading a team of cooks, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to develop and implement kitchen strategies and policies.
- Lead a team of cooks to prepare and cook menu items, including Tex-Mex dishes and AAA steaks.
- Ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Provide coaching and training to staff to improve performance and retention.
- Assist with interviewing and hiring new staff members.
- Communicate shift priorities and responsibilities to the team.
- Exemplify exceptional leadership skills and embody the company's core values.
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience in the hospitality industry.
- Standard First Aid and Food Handlers certificate.
- Ability to lift items up to 30lbs.
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
