Vaco is a leading provider of professional staffing and consulting services, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of VP Business Applications.

About the Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a VP Business Applications, where you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our enterprise applications strategy. You will work closely with our CIO and other senior leaders to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology leadership, with experience in managing large-scale SAP environments, custom application development teams, and data/BI enterprise-grade environments. You will also have excellent communication and presentation skills, and be able to commute to our Richmond Hill office 3 days a week.

We offer a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $200,000 - $300,000+ CAD. If you are a motivated and experienced professional looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

About You
  • Proven progressive strategic technology leadership positions in the applications area, with a strong background in budgeting, risk management, KPI-driven management, and vendor management.
  • Technology-related education, with 20+ years of work experience.
  • Experience managing enterprise-level large SAP environments, including manufacturing and/or supply chain modules/processes.
  • Experience managing custom application development teams, with a strong background in Microsoft stack.
  • Experience managing data/BI enterprise-grade environments, including data governance.
  • Experience working in large multi-national organizations with large distributed teams.
  • Manufacturing and/or supply chain industry experience.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to commute to Richmond Hill office 3 days a week.
  • Ability to travel to US/Europe (rare).
Compensation Range

$200,000 – $300,000+ CAD
