Job Title: Human Resources Clerk

Job Overview:

Domus Building Cleaning Company Ltd. is seeking a skilled Human Resources Clerk to support the company's office in Ottawa, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining security clearances, supporting the Human Resources Manager, and assisting with appointments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the HR Business Partner to assist in staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Support the HR Business Partner in working with candidates through all stages of the recruitment process, including in-person interviews at the office location.
  • Help prepare and complete onboarding packages for regular employees and those requiring Canadian Security Clearance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Be eligible for a Reliability Security Clearance.
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Bilingualism.
  • Strong communication skills.

Working Conditions:

This role requires work onsite at the company's Head Office in Ottawa, Ontario. The position generally works Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm Eastern time.
