Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at IMPACT Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation of patients with various injuries or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation.
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress to track their improvement.
  • Process files and paperwork to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure seamless communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a medical clinic setting.
  • Support for newcomers and refugees, including foreign credential recognition.
  • Support for youths, including mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities.
  • Support for visible minorities, including diversity and cross-cultural training.
