Your Role
As a Third Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. You will also assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety protocols, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements
To succeed as a Third Cook at Gateway, you will need:
  • A minimum of one year of cook position or equivalent culinary experience.
  • Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent education is an asset.
  • Foodsafe Certificate is an asset.
  • Experience with various knife-cutting techniques and knowledge in food safety preparation.
  • Ability to lift items weighted similar to a crate of potatoes and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and special events.
  • Ability to successfully complete a security screening.
