Job Description

Modern Tech Plumbing and Heating is seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the plumbing trade.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work in various locations, including commercial and residential settings.

As a Plumbing Technician with Modern Tech Plumbing and Heating, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team. You will be required to work in various locations, including commercial and residential settings.
