About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Tandoori Flame. As a key member of our purchasing team, you will be responsible for planning and controlling budget and expenditures, developing and implementing purchasing policies and procedures, and overseeing the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services to ensure optimal value for the company
  • Manage contracts with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform purchasing decisions
  • Advise senior management on purchasing strategies and initiatives
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to support business operations
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 hours per week
