Job Overview

The IT Governance and Risk Management Lead plays a vital role in ensuring the effective governance of IT systems and processes within BMO. This position requires strong risk management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective IT governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Provide expert advice on IT risk management and compliance to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure BMO remains compliant.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in IT risk management or a related field.
  • Possession of a post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certifications such as CISA are an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure operations and technologies.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $92,400 - $171,600 per year, depending on location, skills, and experience.
