Job Title: Plumbing Technician

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team at Automated Aquatics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations.

Work Environment

Our team works in a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, and institutional locations. You will be required to work in confined spaces, wet/damp environments, and at construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Repair domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Adjust equipment, valves, pumps, and controls, and process equipment
  • Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems

  • First Aid Certificate
  • Plumber Red Seal Certificate
  • Gas Fitter Red Seal Certificate
Working Conditions
