Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Long-Haul Truck Driver to join our team at SANKARS LOGISTICS INC. As an essential member of our logistics network, you will be responsible for transporting goods across international routes, requiring a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate semi-trailer trucks on long-haul routes, ensuring timely delivery of goods while adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Inspect vehicles regularly, performing routine maintenance tasks and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch, relaying critical information and receiving updates as necessary.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) required.
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and valid driver's license (Class 1 or A) must be held.
  • Possess excellent navigation skills, utilizing GPS and other equipment to ensure efficient routing.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with hazardous materials handling and transportation regulations.
