Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Network Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex network solutions to support our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network security measures to safeguard our computer systems and networks from security breaches, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Lead network architecture planning, including hardware and software upgrades, to ensure our network infrastructure is secure and efficient.
- Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting network issues and implementing solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to meet business objectives and ensure network security measures are in place.
- Conduct regular network performance monitoring and optimization to ensure our network is running at optimal levels.
- Mentor and train junior network engineers to enhance team capabilities and ensure knowledge transfer.
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for network improvements to stay ahead of the curve.
- Develop and maintain network documentation for reference and compliance purposes.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of network architecture design and/or solution engineering experience.
- ~2+ years of network design or administration involving cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.).
- ~2+ years of scripting or coding experience with one or more languages (Python, GO, PowerShell).
- ~8+ years of relevant IT experience in large/complex IT architecture environments.
- ~4-year degree in IT-related course of study.
- Network Architecture experience, 15+ years of experience in all areas.
- Scripting experience with Python.
- Experience with Fortinet Firewalls, Firewall Analysis, VPN, Cloud Security (Azure), VPN Security, Security Compliance, SAML, Radius, Cisco (Routers/Switches/ASA Firewalls), F5 Load Balancing.
- Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer or similar role in a large-scale environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead projects and teams effectively.
