About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accessibility Specialist to join our team at Rubicon Path. In this critical role, you will play a key part in ensuring that our digital solutions meet the highest standards of accessibility and usability for all users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough accessibility testing on various applications, websites, documents, and PDFs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective remediation plans to address identified issues and ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, vendors, and end-users, to provide expert advice on accessibility best practices and ensure seamless integration of accessibility features.
  • Provide detailed reports and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting findings, recommendations, and progress towards accessibility goals.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A deep understanding of I&IT accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1, and emerging trends in accessibility.
  • Experience with conducting OPS 3-part accessibility testing methodology, including manual, automated, and assistive testing technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present complex accessibility concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills to lead accessibility initiatives and drive cultural change within the organization.
What We Offer
