Investment Analysis Role
This role is open for an Investment Analyst in either Halifax or Saint John, reporting directly to the Director-Investments. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Investment team to navigate the complete investment lifecycle, encompassing fixed income, public equities, alternatives, and private equity.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead thorough analysis of externally managed portfolios.
  2. Deliver in-depth reports on investments, summarizing key findings as follows: 1) Regular portfolio assessments; 2) Monthly performance reports; 3) Quarterly investment summaries for the Board of Directors.
  3. Initiate research projects to uncover emerging investment themes and ideas.
  4. Participate in the development and refinement of investment procedures.
  5. Use advanced analytical tools provided by Bloomberg to evaluate portfolio performance.
  6. Annual review of Investment Policy Statements.
  7. Collaborate in the identification and implementation of new technologies to enhance investment processes.
  8. Maintain close working relationships with Ocean Capital's investment teams and external partners.
  9. Verify that investments comply with established policy frameworks.
  10. Expand knowledge of global economic trends and deepen understanding of financial markets.
