Job Title: Facility Operator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Operator to join our team at Secure Energy. As a Facility Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our waste treatment, oil treatment, and water injection facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain waste treatment, oil treatment, and water injection equipment
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations
- Monitor and control facility operations to ensure efficient and safe production
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance facility efficiency and safety
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in operating waste processing and oil treating or water injection an asset
- Midstream terminal operations experience considered an asset
- Current and valid safety tickets, including H2S Alive, First Aid Level One C, Confined Space Entry, WHIMS, and TDG
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environment
- Ability to document work, perform and manage cross-shift communication, and ensure clear communication with the rest of the team
- Ability to multi-task and demonstrate excellent decision-making skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues
- Excellent customer service skills and safe work practices
- Valid and acceptable Driver's license and successful completion of Pre-employment testing
