At Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, we are committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients and families. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team on a part-time basis.

We offer a competitive salary range of $25.63 to $25.98 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to a rewarding work environment, you will have access to comprehensive benefits, including health and dental insurance, pension plan, and employee assistance program.

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of patient care areas, including floors, rooms, and equipment. You will also be required to perform physical tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, as well as operating various floor machines.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You must also be knowledgeable about infection control practices and proper cleaning techniques.

Preferred qualifications include previous cleaning experience, Grade 12 education, and the ability to read and write English. You must also be able to understand computer programs and operate Microsoft software.

In order to be considered for this position, you must provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19, as approved by Health Canada, and undergo a satisfactory Criminal Records Check where indicated.
