Responsibilities
  • Drive quality across software and hardware components to ensure accuracy, performance, and usability of model trainings.
  • Develop and implement effective testing methodologies, communicate complex ideas, and debug issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to demand the highest quality from all components within the Cerebras environment.
  • Automate workflows, set up testbeds, and build tools to monitor and debug issues effectively.
  • Identify potential problems by creatively testing Cerebras software.
  • Break down complex tasks into manageable parts and solve problems effectively.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and make informed decisions that impact company productivity.
Requirements
  • 3-7 years of experience in software quality and testing.
  • Experience testing AI/ML models and evaluating model quality.
  • Strong automation and programming skills using languages like Python, C++, or Go.
  • Experience testing compute/machine learning/networking/storage systems in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Experience debugging issues across scale-out deployments.
  • Experience creating thorough test plans.
  • Experience working effectively across teams, including product development, product management, customer operations, and field teams.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of ML workflows and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of basic storage and networking protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with training large language models.
  • Hands-on experience working with containers and Kubernetes.
