Role Overview

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled Acoustics, Noise and Vibration Engineer to join our Resilience Team in Canada. As a key member of our Environmental team, you will play a crucial role in improving quality of life for clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technical solutions for noise-related projects, including environmental planning and impact assessments, acoustic modelling, and regulatory compliance permitting.
  • Conduct sound level measurements using Larson Davis Model and vibration measurements with Coco-80.
  • Perform site visits to highway, industrial, and commercial properties to collect data and assess regulatory compliances.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of consulting experience in noise and vibration assessments.
  • Engineering degree with a background in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical engineering.
  • P.Eng. (Professional Engineer) eligibility.
  • Valid driver's license.
Key Skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and written skills.
  • Working knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.
  • Understanding of noise and vibration assessment and management.
  • Experience with noise modelling/analysis software, including CadnaA 4.4, Stamson 5.04, STAMINA 2.0, TNM, RAP-ONE, and EASE.
  • Experience with vibration measurements, including Coco-80.
  • Strong computer aptitude and skills (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation).
