Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled Crush Plant Operator to join our team at Richardson International.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.

  • Participate in the daily health and safety program by working safely at all times:

    • Utilize required personal protective equipment.

    • Ensure authorized work is completed safely.

    • Implement controls to prevent exposure to hazards.

    • Participate in incident investigations, training, and other health and safety initiatives.

    • Report all unsafe acts, conditions, incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries/illnesses according to company procedure.

  • Operate and monitor processes in the Crush Plant.

  • Ensure proper processing and expelling of seed.

  • Sample and analyze seed and oil.

  • Perform minor maintenance and repair of equipment.

  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent education.

  • Previous experience in an automated Food Processing facility.

  • Mechanical aptitude.

  • Willingness to work a rotating shift rotation and overtime.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills.
