Job Title: Vice President, Global Supply Chain

At Manitoba Aerospace, we're seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Global Supply Chain to lead and optimize our supply chain operations. This role will be pivotal in driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability across our supply chain functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the supply chain strategy to align with Manitoba Aerospace's business objectives, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of products and services.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships, to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the alignment of supplier performance with company standards and goals.
  • Cost Management: Develop and manage budgets related to supply chain operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to ensure business continuity and minimize disruptions.
  • Technology Integration: Leverage advanced technologies and data analytics to enhance supply chain visibility, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining high-quality standards across all supply chain activities.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a complex, global organization.
  • Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices, preferably within the aviation and/or manufacturing industries.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in leveraging data to drive decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Technology Proficiency: Experience with supply chain management software and technologies, including ERP systems and data analytics tools.
  • Global Perspective: Experience managing supply chains in a global context, with an understanding of international trade regulations and practices.
