Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Gasfitter (Class A) to join our team in the Fort St John area. As a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to work on full-time, long-term construction projects with reputable clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe using specialized tools and equipment
  • Test and replace defective equipment or components
  • Start up and adjust new or repaired equipment
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation

Requirements:

  • Hold a Journeyman Gasfitter (Class A) certificate
  • Experience with Burner Management Systems
  • Proven track record of working in Industrial/Oil & Gas facilities
  • Valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C – with CPR/AED) and CSTS 2020 Fundamentals certificates
  • Able to troubleshoot burners and diagnose problems
  • Experience with B-149.1 & B-149.3 Gas Code
  • Flexible work schedule, including shift work, overtime, and weekends, with the ability to travel
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
