We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at 101486 P.E.I. Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and preparing complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as requisitioning food and kitchen supplies. They will also be responsible for supervising kitchen staff and helpers, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and cleaning kitchen and work areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 42.5 hours per week
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
