About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our team at Next Level Framing LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of carpenters, labourers, and other construction personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed on site, and that all personnel are aware of and comply with these regulations.
  • Materials and Equipment: Requisition and manage materials and equipment to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to their satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems that may arise during projects, and implement solutions to prevent similar problems from occurring in the future.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and a strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. The successful candidate will be required to work at construction sites, and may be required to travel to meet with clients or attend meetings.
