Beekeeping Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Beekeeping Specialist to join our team at Meadow Ridge Enterprises Ltd. As a key member of our apiary operations, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our bee colonies.

This is an on-site position that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. You will be responsible for tasks such as monitoring bee activity, inspecting equipment, and ensuring bio-security protocols are followed.

• Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment
• Work with honey bees, detecting diseases and treating them accordingly
• Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
• Manage bee colonies for honey production and pollination purposes

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Apiary and honey harvesting experience
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
• Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
