At Toronto Maple Star Academy Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, and providing financial guidance to our management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to ensure the financial health and stability of the organization.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to stakeholders.
  • Accounting and Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Manage payroll and benefits administration, including processing payroll, benefits, and other employee-related expenses.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including filing tax returns and making tax payments.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in financial management or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and other financial software.
