Domestic Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Caregiver to join our team at Private Household. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our private residence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized living environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture.
  • Perform laundry and linen duties, including washing, drying, and ironing clothing and household linens.
  • Prepare and serve meals, as needed.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and taking out the trash and recycling.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the household staff.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a household or cleaning role an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods.
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be performed in a private residence.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
