Job Summary:

This Field Operations Associate role combines elements of retail sales and customer service, offering a unique chance to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, capitalizing on sales opportunities, and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring accurate product selection, order entry, and maintenance. Safely pick products and load customer vehicles as needed.
  • Sales Focus: Perform actions with a branch sales focus to capitalize on sales opportunities, encourage customer loyalty, and deliver revenue targets.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain well-rounded knowledge of products and tools sold, including completion of required certifications.
  • Transactions Processing: Process customer transactions, provide updates on delivery, lead times, quotes, etc.
  • VMI Program Management: Collaborate with KS customers on program/product updates for vending/VMI programs.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma
  • Experience: 1-3 years in retail/selling or customer service environment
  • Skill Set: Excellent communication skills, ability to prioritize and manage time effectively, self-motivation, and a winning attitude.
  • Additional Requirements: Ability to safely learn and operate powered industrial equipment, successful completion of initial and ongoing training, background checks, and drug screening may be required.
