Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join our team at RhynoCare Healthcare. As a valued member of our care team, you will provide exceptional nursing care to our residents in long term and acute care facilities in the Brockville area.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
- Ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and services offered.
- Manage resident transfers and discharges in a safe and timely manner.
- Ensure the safekeeping and control of drugs and narcotics, adhering to protocols on all assigned shifts.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Ability to work with individuals with infectious diseases.
- BLS Certificate.
- Valid First Aid & CPR.
- Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV) and negative TB skin test within one year, as well as Hepatitis B.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shift times, including eight or twelve hours in length.
- Ability to 'float' from unit to unit within a hospital, depending on facility need.
- Reliability in accepting and adhering to scheduled shifts.
- Compliance with RhynoCare Healthcare's shift acceptance/cancellation policy.
