Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wallcovering Specialist to join our team at Ferjos Painting. As a Wallcovering Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, mixing paint, applying wallpaper and other materials, and advising consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings.

Responsibilities:
  • Surface Preparation: Clean, sand and prepare surfaces to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Paint Mixing: Mix paint to the desired colour and texture to achieve professional results.
  • Wallcovering Application: Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a seamless fit.
  • Colour Consultation: Advise consumers on the best colours and wall coverings to suit their needs and preferences.
  • Paint Application: Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, providing accurate quotes to clients.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the trade is preferred.
  • Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to various locations, with a focus on shift or on-call work.
Work Environment:
  • Varying Locations: Work will take place at various locations, including paints and varnish processing plants.
  • On-the-Road Job: Be prepared to work on-site at different locations, with a focus on shift or on-call work.
