Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Graphics Programmer to join our team at Monolith Productions, the award-winning AAA studio behind F.E.A.R. and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.

In this role, you will work closely with our art team to identify key features for delivering exceptional visual experiences for our players.

You will be responsible for building core rendering systems for our proprietary game engine across multiple platforms and driving organization and decision-making processes for the graphics team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement graphics features (shaders and C++)
  • Help organize and distribute work among the graphic programming team
  • Collaborate with artists on major graphical features of our game
  • Communicate with other teams and leadership on feature work status
  • Profile and optimize problems related to load times, memory, and CPU usage

Requirements

Experience

  • 6+ years of professional experience in C++

Skills & Knowledge

  • Proven leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency with shader programming languages and graphics APIs
  • Strong 3D math skills
