Job Title: Business Strategy and Analytics Intern

MLSE is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Strategy and Analytics Intern to join our Strategy, Esports and Analytics team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the research, analysis, and strategy development related to MLSE's fans and customers, and provide insights to craft fan experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct analysis on data from various sources to inform business decisions.
  • Create compelling presentations to share analysis and insights.
  • Build dashboards using visualization tools.
  • Support the design, creation, and analysis of fan surveys.
  • Support the conceptualization and formulation of short-term and long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Support the creation of strategic reports and presentations for various audiences.
  • Support the development of KPIs and benchmarks for new strategic initiatives.
  • Research into and report on sports and entertainment industry-standard processes.
  • Facilitate and collaborate with key stakeholders to execute ad-hoc initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution with a focus on Business, Analytics, Research, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related discipline.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to frame business problems and initiate research and analysis tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Team-first, positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude.

Interns within the Strategy, Esports and Analytics team own projects end-to-end and work on cross-functional, collaborative teams, meeting and working with stakeholders from across MLSE.
