Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Conveyor Systems Technician to join our team at Ammega Canada Inc. in Mississauga, ON. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, aligning, and maintaining industrial conveyor belts and related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, align, and dismantle industrial conveyor belts and related components
  • Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts
  • Inspect and examine conveyor belts to detect and investigate irregularities
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial conveyor belts and related instruments
  • Adjust belts and repair or replace defective parts
  • Perform general belt fabrication, including cutting, lacing, and splicing

Requirements:

  • Prior mechanical or fabrication experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and comprehend shop orders and working drawings
  • Must be able to work in Canada for any employer
  • Valid G Driver's License
