About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our project team as a key player in coordinating, controlling, monitoring, and supervising all phases of assigned projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure project delivery meets scope, schedule, budget, and quality assurance parameters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the definition of project scope and strategy in conjunction with the Project Manager and end-users.
  • Review project proposals or plans to determine time frames, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allocation of available resources to various phases of the project.
  • Establish work plans and staff for each phase of the project and direct project tasks.
  • Collaborate with project personnel to ensure project progress on schedule and within the prescribed budget.
  • Develop and support project reports for management.
  • Provide technical advice and resolve problems in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages.
  • Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
  • Manage contractors, consultants, and vendor resources effectively.
  • Control and calculate cost estimates used for management purposes.
  • Maintain a cost estimating database and formal process to support cost estimating, ensuring historical data is utilized.
  • Analyze completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and identify discrepancies.
  • Support supervisors of all contractors working on assigned projects.
  • Liaise with plant and department managers to resolve cement plant issues and problems.
  • Provide technical and supervisory assistance in plant maintenance department emergencies, shutdown planning, and maintenance strategies.
  • Manage SAP functions, including PRs, POs, Service Receipts, and AP issues.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree, diploma, or certificate in electrical or automation.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in an industrial environment, cement factories, or mining.
  • Experience with PLC programming, commissioning, and project startups.
  • Good computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Tools.
  • Ability to travel and stay in other cities during commissioning and shutdown activities.
  • Travels to USA may be required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
