Optometrist Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optometrist Assistant to join our team at FYidoctors in Penticton Marina Way. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class service to our patients.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $38,400 - $40,000, based on 30-40 hours per week. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer an excellent benefits package, including quarterly bonuses, rapid growth opportunities, and ongoing training and development programs.

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring the successful candidate to work up to 30-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The Optometrist Assistant will be responsible for:

• Welcoming patients and checking them in and out of the clinic
• Communicating with patients via phone and email
• Billing patients and third parties
• Administering pre-testing services
• Managing appointment bookings and billing
• Providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail environment
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Solid proficiency in MS Office Suite and technology
• A professional and approachable demeanor
