Job Description:

K-Town Carpets and Flooring Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Carpet Installer to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to install high-quality carpeting in residential and commercial settings. As a key member of our flooring installation team, you will work closely with our experienced installers to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation: Install various types of carpeting, including broadloom, modular, and luxury vinyl tile (LVT) systems, while adhering to strict quality standards and deadlines.
  • Preparation: Measure, cut, and prepare floors for installations, ensuring accurate dimensions and precise fitments.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, ensuring a flawless finish and meeting customer expectations.
  • Communication: Collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and supervisors to address queries, provide updates, and resolve any issues that may arise during the installation process.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
  • Experience: Previous experience in flooring installation, particularly with carpeting, is an asset
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and physical stamina to lift heavy materials and navigate confined spaces
Compensation and Benefits:

Our estimated salary range for this role is between $45,000 and $65,000 per annum, depending on experience and location. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
