Job Summary

TOTEM Recruteur de talent is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team in Montreal. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for producing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and managing the accounting cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and the parent company.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare financial analyses related to management control.
  • Accounting Cycle Management: Manage the entire accounting cycle, including invoicing, collections, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and bank deposits.
  • Payroll and Invoicing Supervision: Supervise the processing of payroll and invoicing.
  • Government and Organizational Reporting: Ensure the production of reports to governments and other organizations.
  • Cash and Investment Management: Monitor cash and investments.
  • Supplier and Social Benefits Management: Manage supplier contracts and social benefits.
  • Financial Activities Coordination: Coordinate financial activities with the headquarters in France.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve accounting processes and tools.
  • External Audit Collaboration: Collaborate with our external auditor.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of significant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Autonomy, Proactivity, and Solution-Oriented
