About the PositionThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, performing maintenance and repair duties related to buildings and equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are safe and functional, and that our patients receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities- Performing trades duties approaching the journeyman level in a variety of trades' areas, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and welding.
- Maintenance and repair duties related to buildings and equipment, including performing mechanical and electrical repairs to equipment and systems.
- Providing excellent customer service and support to our patients and staff.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Grade 10, plus four years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- A strong ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
