This is an exciting opportunity to join SAIT as a Food Service Professional, supporting both front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) duties.

As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service, efficiently manage guest orders, and maintain high standards of safety and sanitation in our outlets.

  • Serving/Bartending Duties
  • You will possess a thorough knowledge of menu items and preparation methods.
  • You will process all guest orders in the Micros Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • You will execute delivery of all food and beverage in an efficient and professional manner.
  • You will provide guests with exceptional customer service at all times.
  • You will process all customer bills and payments accurately.
  • You will complete end-of-day cashout procedures, ensuring accuracy of deposit.
  • You will maintain a high level of safety and sanitation standards throughout your shift.
  • You will clean tables and counters to a high standard.
  • You will monitor and order packaging supply inventory.
  • You will stock beverage coolers, coffee stations, take-out supplies, and retail areas.
  • You will assist with opening and closing duties of the outlet.
  • You will set up and tear down tables, chairs, décor, and AV equipment as required.
  • You will assist with replenishing buffet items and serving utensils.
  • You will assume related duties as required.

Stewarding/Prep Cook Duties

  • You will clean kitchen equipment, wash dishes, operate the dishwasher, and maintain high standards of safety and sanitation.
  • You will prepare food according to menu requirements.
  • You will conduct deep cleaning of all equipment.
  • You will demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items and preparation methods.
  • You will package prepared foods, label, and price them correctly.
  • You will assist with opening and closing duties of the outlet.
  • You will assume related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • You must hold a High School Diploma.
  • Experience:
  • You must have previous working experience.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $15-$20 per hour. This is a full-time position, and we are looking to fill 15 roles.
