We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at GSTAR PAINTING & DECORATING INC. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
- Mix paint to desired color and texture.
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.
- Work at heights, outdoors, and in confined spaces.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work at heights, outdoors, and in confined spaces.
- Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.
- Physical demands include bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Flexibility, reliability, and team player skills.
- Experience as a Painter or in a related field.
- Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
