Job Summary

Rana siding &Gutters Ltd. is seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, assisting in various tasks such as loading and unloading materials, erecting scaffolding, and assisting in framing houses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the supervision of experienced tradespeople.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring a smooth and even surface.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring a safe and efficient flow of vehicles and personnel.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Repetitive tasks may be required, such as loading and unloading materials.
  • Handle heavy loads, including construction materials and equipment.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Will train on the job, providing opportunities for growth and development.
  • English language proficiency is required for communication with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Work a regular 35-40 hour week, with occasional overtime as required.
