About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Sourcing Director to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives that drive business value and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans that align with business objectives and drive cost savings
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize supply chain operations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors
  • Design and implement data management systems to track and analyze procurement metrics and performance
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
Requirements
  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing and procurement leadership roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to drive process improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements
