Commercial Property Management Technical Support Specialist

As a member of our Yardi Help Desk Team, you will play a crucial role in managing troubleshooting, optimizing Yardi Voyager for commercial real estate operations, and providing exceptional technical support to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include handling system configurations, financial workflows, data management, and user training to support commercial property management and finance teams.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with Lynx leadership, the project management team, and external parties such as Yardi to ensure seamless Yardi functionality for job costing, PayScan, and financial reporting. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues in Yardi Voyager Commercial and related modules, responding to Help Desk queries and tracking progress in the support ticketing system.
Maintaining customer service standards and best practices for support processes, ensuring timely responses and clear communication with users, is also an essential aspect of this role. Additionally, you will conduct training sessions and create user-friendly guides and quick reference materials to help staff navigate Yardi software effectively.
Your collaboration with internal teams and external support will be critical in ensuring data integrity by performing regular audits, correcting errors, and updating system information as needed. Furthermore, you will generate and analyze financial reports and ad hoc data to assist in business decision-making and commercial property operations. Participating in project meetings as needed to support Yardi system-related requirements, from scoping through post-implementation support, will also be a key responsibility.
To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience supporting Yardi Voyager Commercial within property management, real estate finance, or accounting operations is required. Proven ability to deliver effective technical support and troubleshoot Yardi software in a dynamic environment is also essential.
Technical Skills
The ideal candidate should have proficiency in Yardi Voyager Commercial, including Job Cost, PayScan, AP/AR, and General Ledger, along with a comprehensive understanding of financial workflows and reporting functionalities. Experience with Yardi system setup and configuration, including PayScan, job cost tracking, and approval workflows, is also necessary. A strong understanding of Yardi-related tools for commercial property management and finance, including the ability to generate complex financial and operational reports within the Yardi system, is crucial. The ability to troubleshoot system issues and maintain data integrity across Yardi systems is also required. Familiarity with software integrations, such as payment gateways, third-party financial systems, and automated workflows within the Yardi environment, is beneficial. Providing technical support and training to internal users on Yardi commercial modules and financial processes is also a key responsibility. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for financial analysis and reporting, is an asset. Lastly, familiarity with system upgrades and patches for Yardi Voyager Commercial and related modules is desirable.
