About the Role

We're seeking a talented Demolition and Excavation Estimating Professional to join our operations team. In this role, you'll blend office-based estimating with field-based project support, working on a wide range of construction projects across the Greater Toronto Area.

Your primary responsibilities will include preparing accurate cost estimates, conducting detailed quantity takeoffs, soliciting pricing from subcontractors, and assisting in project budget development and cost control strategies. You'll also attend site visits and pre-bid walk-throughs, support pre-construction planning, coordinate timelines and tools, and communicate effectively with estimators, PMs, and field staff.

This is an exciting opportunity to grow with a reputable company that's building a strong name in Toronto construction. If you have a solid estimating background, excellent technical and communication skills, and a passion for construction logistics, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review tender documents, architectural and structural drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
  • Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Solicit pricing from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive and accurate proposals
  • Assist in the development of project budgets and cost control strategies
  • Attend site visits and pre-bid walk-throughs to gather information critical to the estimating process
  • Support pre-construction planning by coordinating timelines, tools, and team setup
