Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Smilekids Childcare Lambrick. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our early childhood educators in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support early childhood educators in maintaining accurate records and submitting written observations on children.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
