Kelly Services (Canada), Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Medical Interpreter to join our team in Canada. As a Medical Interpreter, you will play a vital role in facilitating effective communication between patients and healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Kurdish Sorani, with excellent interpretation skills and a strong understanding of medical terminology. You will work from home, providing accurate and clear interpretations during online calls, ensuring that all parties involved understand each other's needs.
This is a competitive weekly pay opportunity. The estimated salary for this position is around $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience.
As a Medical Interpreter, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing accurate and clear interpretation during online calls
- Handling incoming calls efficiently in a high-volume call center environment
- Navigating conversations in specialized fields such as Healthcare, Insurance, Financial, and Law Enforcement
- Demonstrating cultural sensitivity and understanding to create an inclusive atmosphere
- Upholding a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy during all interactions
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Fluency in English and Kurdish Sorani
- A high school diploma or GED
- Confidence with medical terminology
- Reliability and flexibility to work varying shifts
- A suitable quiet and secure work-at-home environment
- A stable and fast internet connection
