Role Overview

As a Design Researcher at Creative Niche, you will play a crucial role in shaping the experiences we create through our digital products. This involves working with a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and developers to identify upcoming decisions that require research inputs.

In this position, you will propose methodologies, conduct fieldwork, analyze data, and socialize implications to ensure seamless collaboration among team members. Your expertise will help us develop a Design Research Strategy that addresses business and design objectives.

You will also be responsible for research and testing activities, including evaluating prototypes, improving understanding of current contexts, and generating new insights into changing user needs. Additionally, you will facilitate ideation sessions and collaborative work activities to drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Design Research Strategies that meet business and design objectives
  • Conduct research activities to evaluate prototypes and improve understanding of current contexts
  • Facilitate ideation sessions and collaborative work activities to drive innovation

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Information Studies, Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), or Computer Science
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in research
  • Understanding of design research theory and tools
  • Knowledge of various design research methodologies
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams
