Automotive Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Midas Hamilton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnostics and Repairs: Use state-of-the-art computer systems to diagnose and repair complex issues with vehicles.
- Tire and Brake Services: Perform tire and brake repairs, including tire rotations and brake pad replacements.
- Engine and Cooling Systems: Repair and maintain engine and cooling systems, including oil changes and radiator repairs.
- Electrical Systems: Diagnose and repair electrical issues with vehicles, including battery and starting system problems.
- Steering and Suspension: Repair and maintain steering and suspension systems, including alignments and suspension repairs.
- Exhaust and Emissions: Repair and maintain exhaust and emissions systems, including muffler and catalytic converter replacements.
- Provincial Certificate of Qualification: Must hold a valid Provincial Certificate of Qualification in Automotive Repair.
- Valid Driver's License: Must hold a valid driver's license.
- Experience with Shop Equipment: Must have experience using shop equipment, including lifts, tire changing equipment, and diagnostic tools.
- Knowledge of Safety and Environmental Standards: Must have knowledge of and adhere to safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.
- Ability to Work Independently: Must be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with peers.
