Financial Reporting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our financial reporting functions and ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee internal financial reporting and prepare half-year and full-year financial statements under IFRS for the Head Office (HO).
- Manage the IFRS audit process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information to auditors and adherence to audit timelines.
- Stay updated on IFRS changes and provide strategic business insights on compliance.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of financial reporting policies and procedures.
- Lead tasks related to monthly forecasts, quarterly closes, annual budgets, and multi-year financial planning.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate financial reporting processes to improve data quality and efficiency.
- Manage internal audit requests and maintain financial reporting procedures in line with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
- Provide in-depth financial analysis, clearly explaining variances to senior management.
- Collaborate with tax and legal advisors on corporate restructuring and contribute to the production of the Annual Report.
- At least 5 years of experience in a relevant role, ideally from an accounting firm or industry, with a strong focus on IFRS reporting and a CPA designation.
- Strong analytical skills and technical accounting knowledge, particularly in IFRS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.
- A track record of driving process improvements and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience in financial modeling and reporting.
