Financial Reporting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our financial reporting functions and ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee internal financial reporting and prepare half-year and full-year financial statements under IFRS for the Head Office (HO).
  • Manage the IFRS audit process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information to auditors and adherence to audit timelines.
  • Stay updated on IFRS changes and provide strategic business insights on compliance.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of financial reporting policies and procedures.
  • Lead tasks related to monthly forecasts, quarterly closes, annual budgets, and multi-year financial planning.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate financial reporting processes to improve data quality and efficiency.
  • Manage internal audit requests and maintain financial reporting procedures in line with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Provide in-depth financial analysis, clearly explaining variances to senior management.
  • Collaborate with tax and legal advisors on corporate restructuring and contribute to the production of the Annual Report.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a relevant role, ideally from an accounting firm or industry, with a strong focus on IFRS reporting and a CPA designation.
  • Strong analytical skills and technical accounting knowledge, particularly in IFRS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • A track record of driving process improvements and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience in financial modeling and reporting.
