Palladio Mouldings Inc is seeking a skilled craftsperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in producing carvings from wood, stone and other materials, utilizing hand and power tools, and preparing plaster models and moulds. The successful candidate will also be responsible for making and modifying plaster casts, reading blueprints and drawings, and moulding and installing ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality carvings from wood, stone and other materials
  • Utilize hand and power tools to achieve precise results
  • Prepare plaster models and moulds for casting
  • Make and modify plaster casts as required
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in an urban area
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials

Working Conditions:

  • Work will be performed in an urban area
  • Public transportation is available
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
